Peta jalan kuliner Pesona Kuliner Depok

Halo lagi,

Setelah belajar dan mencoba beberapa kali, saya sudah berhasil membuat peta jalan dari tempat-tempat makan enak di daerah Depok. Peta jalannya belum lengkap tetapi sudah cukup baiklah. Secara berkala saya akan menambahkan beberapa tempat baru lainnya ke peta buatan saya. Silahkan diklik tautan di bawah ini dan mulailah penjelajahan kalian. :)

Atraksi Anak Pengisi LIburan

Sebuah hiburan baru telah muncul di Kota Depok. Di DeToS, seorang pengusaha permainan anak membuat wahana baru bagi anak kecil untuk bermain dengan bola udara yang bisa membuat pengguna di dalamnya berjalan di atas air. 


BIaya untuk menggunakan attraksi unik ini cukup mahal, 35 ribu rupiah. Namun anak bisa memuaskan diri untuk bermain dan merasakan fantasi berjalan di atas air. :)

What are they still waiting?

Haruskah jatuh korban baru PemDa Depok bertindak. Semenjak proyek pelebaran jalan Margonda Raya dimulai, gapura masuk kota Depok tidak kunjung diangkat demi kemudahan pekerjaan. Sekarang yang ada jalan Margonda Raya dengan gapura di tengahnya. Kondisi ini sangat berbahaya, terutama bagi pengguna jalan seperti pengemudi mobil dan pengendara sepeda motor atau sepeda kayuh. Kalau malam, kondisinya bisa berbahaya, terutama bagi orang luar Depok.

Hopjes Kopi

While accompanying my mother to Apotik Melawai, Depok, I came across this unique candy, Hopjes Kopi. These days, it's not so often to find such candy sold in a modern store, let alone at a supermarket or hypermart. Last time I checked, I can only find it in a unique small shop located at Kemang, Cemal-Cemil, specializing in selling retro delicacies.

A pack of this Hopjes is only Rp1.200,-, not bad for bringing back nostalgic childhood. As the name suggest, it's a coffee flavored candy which, I suspect, is made the old-fashioned way. I came to that conclusion because, after I tore away the package, it was quite an effort to take one candy out of the pack. It was, as if, the candies were glued one to another. It happens that the candies melt a little when the package is put in a room temperature. The taste is yummy, but too sweet. The coffee is too much absorbed in sugar or caramel, I don't know. In this country, there is no coffee candy that really taste like coffee.

With a classic package design and cheap price, this candy is quite a way of bringing back the old days of my childhood in 1980's. Interested, well, you don't have to go as far as Kemang because you can just drop by at Apotik Melawai Depok, not far from LIA Depok.
